Welcome to Our Class

Hello, my name is Mrs Allwood, and I am delighted to be teaching the class as maternity cover for Mrs Machado.

Our team of dedicated staff include: Mrs Young, Mrs Filby, Mrs Holland, Ms Holder and Ms Lee. 

We are a small, inclusive SEND class of 14 wonderful children. Our priority is to ensure that every child feels valued, supported, and able to reach their full potential. We follow the National Curriculum, carefully adapting learning to meet the individual needs of our pupils and allowing children to progress at a pace that is right for them.

We strive to create a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where children can develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. Our lessons are designed to be fun, hands-on, and meaningful, providing plenty of opportunities for children to actively participate, explore, and celebrate their achievements.

We have high expectations for all of our children and believe that every pupil can achieve success. We encourage all children to participate fully in every aspect of school life, both in the classroom and beyond. By providing the right support, challenge, and opportunities, we help our pupils develop confidence, resilience, and independence, enabling them to thrive as valued members of our school community.
