Welcome to Christ the King Catholic Primary School and Nursery with The Ark.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Whether you are a prospective parent, a current member of our school community, or simply interested in learning more about our school, I hope this website gives you a sense of the warmth, care and ambition that make Christ the King such a special place.

At Christ the King, our mission is summed up in our vision:

"Loving, Learning and Growing Together as Christ's Family."

Rooted in our Catholic faith, we strive to ensure that every child feels valued, respected and loved as a unique child of God. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

Our dedicated staff work hard to ensure that every child is supported both academically and personally, enabling them to achieve their full potential. We place great importance on developing the whole child, fostering spiritual, moral, social and emotional growth alongside high standards of teaching and learning.

We are proud of our strong partnerships with parents, carers, parish communities and the wider community. By working together, we create the best possible opportunities for our children to flourish and become compassionate, responsible citizens who are ready for the next stage of their education and life journey.

We are also proud of The Ark, our Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP), which reflects our commitment to inclusion and ensuring that all children receive the support they need to thrive.  Our ARP is suitable for up to 18 children from Year 1 -6, please see their page for further information.

I hope you enjoy exploring our website and learning more about our vibrant school community. If you would like further information or wish to arrange a visit, we would be delighted to welcome you to Christ the King and show you our school in person.

I look forward to meeting you.
