At Christ the King, we believe every child is unique. Our friendly and experienced team provides a warm and welcoming environment where children can feel safe, confident and supported as they explore the world around them. 

Our experienced and dedicated team is committed to providing high - quality early years care and education, with a strong focus on each child's individual needs, interests and development.

We encourage children to learn at their own pace through play, creativity and hands-on experiences. From arts and crafts to outdoor adventures, stories, music and imaginative play, every day brings something new to discover. 

Nurturing young hearts and minds through Catholic education

Our nursery encourages children to grow in faith, develop their understanding of the Catholic traditions and discover the joy of learning through our Religious Education lessons.

Religious Education is an important part of life at our nursery. Through stories, daily prayer, songs, celebrations and meaningful conversations, children are introduced to the teaching of the Catholic Church in ways that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.  Prayer is naturally woven into our nursery day. Children are given opportunities to pray together.

We celebrate key moments in the Catholic calendar, including Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter, helping to develop an early understanding of the significance of these special seasons. 

We are a 26-place nursery, morning sessions only – 8:45am-11:45am.

Children may attend nursery in the term after their 3rd birthday. 

Applications for nursery places should be made through the school using our Nursery Admission form.

Please note: a place in nursery does not guarantee a place in Reception when the child is of school age.
