Clubs including Breakfast & After School

School Clubs

We offer a variety of clubs some of which are free of charge and run by our teachers. Each term we will be offering different clubs. The clubs on offer for this Summer Term 2024 are:

 

Every lunchtime

There is a Usports session on the Key Stage 2 playground (Years 4-6) available for all children. This is free of charge.

Breakfast Club

 

Breakfast Club runs every day during term time.

 

Breakfast Club is from 7.30 - 8.50 a.m.  It costs £4.50 per day and children may be brought to school at any time from 7.30 a.m. onwards.  The Breakfast club should be booked online, ask at the school office for details.   Breakfast is milk, juice, toast and cereal.  The children also enjoy playing quiet board games until 8.40 a.m.


After School Club

 

After School Club runs every day during term time except for the last day of the Christmas, Easter and Summer Terms.

 

After School Club runs from 3.20 - 6 p.m.  The cost is £11 per day.  At After School Club the children enjoy a range of games and activities.  When the weather makes it possible, the children go outside into the Infant play area. 

 

If you would like to use the After School Club, please complete an After School Club Application Form. Once we have received the completed form we will provide details on how to book. Advance booking is essential.

We are pleased that Mr Harrison will be running music lessons at Christ The King School. He offers drum and piano/keyboard lessons. The lessons take place during the school day. If you would like your child to take part please complete the application form and email to musicteacher@christtheking.reading.sch.uk or hand it in to the school office.
