We cover the full national Curriculum in PE.  Every class has PE sessions each week.  The hall is timetabled for these, although for some activities and if the weather is good the PE lessons may be taken outside.

We have a range of extra-curricular PE activities: street dance, judo, multi sports and football are all offered to our children.

We take part in a range of sporting competitions and have enjoyed particular success in football over the years.

Swimming is taught in Year 3, with all the children in Year 3 swimming every week of the year with the objective that by the end of the year they should be able to swim 25 metres.  Our local swimming pool is a very easy walking distance - less than five minutes away.  It was recently refurbished and now offers an even better experience for our children.

All children are offered three residential experiences.  In Year 4 the children go to Ufton Court for two nights; in Year 5 they spend time under canvas at Rushall farm, near Bradfield, and in Year 6 they go on a week's residential visit to Marwell.  These visits enable us to cover the outdoor and adventurous activities strand of the National Curriculum for PE.
