Dear Parents and Carers,
I am very pleased to announce the appointment of a substantive headteacher: Yvonne Ridguard. On Tuesday a panel of governors and advisers met to interview Mrs Ridguard. We had a rigorous and thorough process. We agreed unanimously to appoint Mrs Ridguard. We felt she had the skills to lead our school forward. She is a practising and committed Catholic, who is presently Assistant head of a Catholic primary school in Bracknell. She will start on 1st September 2026.
The school has been through a period of uncertainty, thank you for your support and patience during this time. We are very grateful to Mrs Bingham who has led the school this year. Her friendly and kindly approach has helped us all. The support of the staff has been unstinting, it has not been easy for anyone.
I know you will welcome and support Mrs Ridguard as she settles in and gets to know us. I amassured that she will have the best interests of our pupils, parents/carers and staff at heart.
